Make Your Voice Heard

We want to hear from Nigerians; when you say “true federalism”, what exactly do you mean?  How would you like the country to be structured? What powers do you believe states should have? What type of legislature do you want? What’s your take on Local Government autonomy, etc ?

Committee Composition

The Committee on True Federalism was specially constituted to be truly representative. There are members from every region of the country, youths and women are also well represented.

Nationwide Consultations

In order to leave no stone unturned and ensure that Nigerians’ voices are heard, the committee will meet with Nigerians in two states in each of the six geo-political zones.

“Reform of our political structure, which was described as true federalism formed one of the core negotiating points by the Parties that merged to form the All Progressives Congress, APC. This is why the manifesto dwelled extensively on the promise of true federalism. It is therefore incongruous that our party will renege on our solemn commitment to the institutionalisation of true federalism in our national political life.”
